Sixes and Nines - Birkwin Jersey
This is so good it's unsettling.
A young artists from the UK, Birkwin Jersey has been flying under the radar until recently. His tracks explain a calming but fidgety energy that I've been feeling a lot of lately. He uses glitchy vocal samples (my favorite) that add a human element while making it seems other worldly at the same time. He uses glitches and crackles that I swear I can almost recognize but realize that I never ever will be able to.
This is my favorite type of musical find; my version of discovering the Black Sea Scrolls.
I've been feeling antsy for days, unable to find a soundtrack to go along with it. Finding music that sounds like what I feel like is the best way for me to gain clarity. It confirms what these emotions are and expressed them better than I ever could. Stumbling into something that exactly explains me to myself is a remarkable feeling.
So give this a listen and check out his other tracks . Even if it doesn't move you in the way it did me, it's still some pretty solid electro.

Unstoppable
I really do not want to like this song. I was dead set against it for weeks. I even said absolutely no to booking her and pissed off most of my team.
However, it got stuck in my head and after catching myself singing it to myself for the last few days, I'll finally own up to liking it.
Now I have to return, tail between my legs, and admit that it really is quite catchy and would probably make a fun show.
Anyway, Check out Sister Wife by Alex Winston.
And please forgive my preconceived douchery. I'll work on it.

Addicted.
I'm way late on this bandwagon.
But I've had Tune-Yards on repeat for weeks now.
So great for so many different reasons.

Nbd.
So we booked RAC last semester. They laid down pure gold at the show and they've consistently impressed me since.

Wut.
This is really awesome. 17-year old artist Madeon mashed 39 songs into a little over three minutes.
